I have lived in Oakville for nearly three years now and originally moved to Canada with my family in 2012 as an immigrant from the Philippines. I love this country as much as you and it's an honor to be a Canadian.
The On Our Way story starts in January 2020, just a few weeks before COVID-19 triggered mass lockdown and I couldn’t shake this feeling that there was a gap in the saturated cleaning market. I loved having my home cleaned but, trying to find the time in my already packed schedule seemed impossible!
As a customer, I noticed that there was a lack of innovation, high prices, poor experiences and difficulty in interaction with the brands. Initially when I first started, never having been self-employed before I found it very daunting to build my own business. So I decided not to launch, then COVID-19 hit and I saw the impact it was having on the local community, shapeshifting views on cleanliness/sterilization everywhere. It was at this time that I decided to take the leap, leverage my healthcare background and passion around helping others, to create amazing customer experiences. We mean it when we say “Customer and Community obsessed”.
On Our Way is currently in Beta (early stage and still testing), being run out of my garage virtually with team members all over the world whether it be software development down to legal and media creation. We are probably the most diverse team out there!
